Editorial Analysis
Watchman Press Review
The following classifications and notes are reviewed Watchman Press editorial analysis. They are separate from the biblical text and from the raw cross-reference dataset.
By His Bruise We Were Healed
Peter applies the servant's wounded suffering and healing language directly to Christ's bearing of sins in His body on the tree.
Peter joins Isaiah's wounded servant to the cross and to the moral purpose of redemption: believers die to sins and live to righteousness because Christ bore their sins.
